Dear Parents,

This message is to inform you that WCE will be providing incentives to our students who are helping WCE achieve their Attendance Goal of 98%. All students who have 98% attendance for the first 9 weeks, with no unexcused tardies, will get to participate in an Attendance Party (which will include games and treats) on the week of Oct. 31st - Nov. 4th, during their enrichment time. We simply want to reward and thank the students who are helping us reach our attendance goal. We will continue these incentive parties at the conclusion of the second and third nine weeks as well.

With that being said, it is also the time of year when viruses are making their way through the school; so, please remember to keep your child home if they are too sick to attend school. They need to be fever/vomit/diarrhea free for 24 hours before returning to school. I'm thrilled to report that our custodial staff completed a thorough deep clean of our campus today, so our students will be returning to a healthy school environment tomorrow.

Thank you for helping your child arrive at school on time, attending regularly, and for keeping them home when they are too sick to attend.
