I am excited to announce that our fabulous Teachers and Staff have been hard at work preparing for an amazing kick-off to our 2023-2024 school year. I am confident that all of our students will have an amazing day tomorrow. For safety and security reasons, we will not be allowing parents to enter the building on the first day of school. As much as we all wish this wasn't necessary, we simply must increase our safety and security measures to ensure the safety of our students and staff. However, we had a record breaking high attendance Meet the Teacher event visit last night. Thank you for showing up in a big way to partner with WCE for the benefit of your child. Our new teachers were so impressed with the turn out of our amazing community.
The first day of school is tomorrow, Aug. 16th, 2023. The doors open each day at 7:45 AM, and instruction begins promptly at 8:10 AM. Students are considered tardy after 8:10 AM. We dismiss at 3:50 PM. Please be patient with bus routes and dismissal the first several days, as we anticipate delays due to diligence and highway construction. Please trust that we will do all we can to ensure their safety and our efficiency.
Lunch visitors will be allowed beginning September 18th, 2023. We appreciate you giving us the time to teach our students our campus lunch procedures and foster their independence at school.
